I registered for three classes today: Advanced Life Drawing, Advanced Life Painting (both are back to back with my favorite teacher! "You're going to suffer but be happy" seems to be my life motto), and Comic Spirit in the Comparative World Lit department (unfortunately not with the teacher I had before for Folklore and Myth). I need one more class and I'll probably do a P.E. (either yoga or a dance class). What do you think, f-list?

    FAKE POLL!

[ ]Do one of the two last req.'s you need outside your department, slacker.
[ ]Get rid of one of your last art histories (although Post-Modern is late at night and Spanish Baroque is during one of my classes and those are the ones I want to take)
[ ] Do another shiny studio class and /your wrists, because I hate you and your continued suffering pleases me. Subcategory Mini Poll:
[ ]Fiber! Make pretty knit things!
[ ]Jewelry Making! Expensive but Oh SO SHINY! Make me pretty things!
[ ]Life Sculpture, you Figurative Arts Nazi!
[ ]Screen Printing- Pattern Making class is ftw!

[ ]Quit trying to kill yourself with classes! You're going to be stuck for two more semesters after fall anyways.
[ ]This is not a real poll! Learn to make a proper poll! >:(
    [ ]MY TICKY BOX!
[ ]Why don't you take an abstract painting class like you said you would?

    HAPPY B-DAY, Phosfate
So, seeing how phosfate is not a serial plagiarist, I'm giving her a birthday pic! :D

I can't believe some of you would stand behind such a blantant plagiarist. I trusted phosfate. I laughed at her fics, but I can't keep her as a friend now that I know the truth.

It hurts me to say this but puipui, rotten_fish, you're both unfriended. Phosfate is SO unfriended. Hell, I might turn on IP logging just so I can ban her ass back to fifth grade.

    Edit: barankhy is also banned. How could you, Bernie? ;-;

Walking home from class today, I came across a little brown sparrow. By little, it was easily nestled in the palm of my hand. By across, it was in the middle of a walkway, SLEEPING. Where people were frequenting. Where it shouldn't be. I thought it was a piece of trash first but when I got closer, I saw it was feathered. I thought it was dead, so I looked closer and it was still alive. I poked it gently and it hopped but went back to sleep.

I was freaking out. I was worried that it was injured or sick. D: Poor birdy! I picked it up and tried to call my parents to find out what to do to help it. It was so little (like a baby). I had this little birdy in my hand, nestled up and sleeping while I tried to walk back to my dorm. Yes, I know, I could get all sorts of diseases. My parents were telling me to leave it. But I couldn't do that. So they told me to call the humane society, but said they weren't going to care.

But then, Bird decided to wake up and it flew! Huzzah! I guess it was just resting. :D

It flew a little ways and fell back asleep in the grass. I tried to give it water, but then it got up and flew into the pushes like the normal birds around here. I think it'll be fine.

Going home for spring break now! I did wash my hands as soon as I was back and I threw the water bottle away. I wish I had gotten a picture.

Happy Ostara or Easter! Or New Year, if you're Iranian/Persian (I know I'm off because it was earlier this week). The rest of you can share candy with the rest of us.

Did I ever mention I love Alanis Morissette? I watched this video recently and it reminded me of something ashenmote would like. Forgive me if I'm wrong. Plus, Dancing makes me happy.

Oh, ashenmote, you're so fine. You're so fine, you blow my mind! Hey, Ashenmote!

On another note, Toni Basil was way to old to be a teenager when she made that video.

    J- EEEEEEEEEEEFFFFFFF- K!
Well, you all know that George Washington saved children (just not the British children), but did you know that JFK was a hyper-sympathetic telepathic machine?

Also, Bible History #1. Sodom and Gomorah- Sodom being named after sodomy and Gomorah being named after an even weirder move. Genisis: 19, TOTAL INSANITY!(possibly NSFW)

    I <3 Brad Neely.

    Tehrin: hahaha
Tehrin: Did you use a condom?
Bro: she told me he was clean, it wasnt till after he had CTS

Oh, the other spawn of my mother's loins. He makes me proud. I apologize for the low-brow STD humor, but we are weird siblings.

By the way. I HAS A NEW FANDOM. I feel like I got on the D.Gray-man boat a little late. I'm in love with Lavi-kun, which is a change from my usual main character favorite type (sorry, Kanda you're...probably tied for second with Tyki Mick). This means, I am going to need new Icons!

The Five Most Ill-Concieved Action Figures
Cracked.com posted their list of The Five Most Ill-Conceived Action Figures. The Stretch Armstrong bit is a riot.

It's so true, but I never noticed )
Also on the list are Rambo, the Food Fighters, and the Incredible Crash Test Dummies. Ranking Numero Uno is the He-Man toyline. Undertones or no-undertones, check out the names. My favorite is Tung Lashor.

In other news, I won the bid on the shoes I wanted on E-bay. Instead of $100 dollars, I spent $50! So cute! :)

ETA: I'm moving back to school tomorrow. It's 7 and I haven't cleaned my room, nor started packing. But I did get my haircut.

I've been gone because friends have been visiting. Did I miss anything in particular?

I got to spend a lovely day with Robin and Dan at the Bower's Museum. The Terracotta Warriors aren't there, but the Egyptian exhibit on loan from the British Museum was and I enjoyed that more than I thought I would. Mummies are just awesome. They also had a nice exhibit on Ancient China from the permnament collection and a visiting gem stone exhibit. Dan promised he'd buy me a tiera when he became famous. They had the most amazing little carved animals made out of gem stones. There was also a giant double-fired(?) fossil which shone beautiful reds, yellows, and oranges. I also love seeing the usual stuff- especially the Native American baskets, the Mayan artifacts, and the headdresses from Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, and the Americas. They had a few very intricately carved caskets from Indonesia I believe which were in the shape of animals and one from Central America carved as a Jaguar.

I'm going back in May for the Warriors. Onyx, trip, y/y?

We then went down to Old Towne Orange and went to my favorite little cafe bistro place. I had chilli, a chicken chipotle panini (which comes with pasta and a bite size desert chocolate chip cookie), and chocolate gellato. It was freezing out, but I don't get gellato every day.

We drove back the canyon route and the creek is full and rushing which makes me happy, because we needed the water. It was my first time driving through it since the fires and some areas are entirely back and the trees that once covered over head were no longer there. It was sad, but it's still beautiful.

And then we spent all night playing Uno and watching Austin Powers. Next time they come down, provided there is no rain, I'm taking them to San Juan Capistrano and Dana Point.

To make this an official fannish entry- my copy of Diablo II arrived and I think I'm going to choose the Amazon class.

    HAPPY YULE!
I got a job so I spent the day at the firm where I used to work. It's funny when people double take and quasi-remember me before realizing that I look like my mom.

So, onyxnoir and I went out to look at holiday lights (I'm being non-dominational here) in the ritzy neighborhood. And then we got coffee and a midnight snack (I'm calling it that since it was almost 11).

And we found random panties ontop of a mailbox. Random. With the tag still attached.

    Ew.
