With orange juice, it should be called "Monkey Jack Rum Punch" and with cranberry "Tia Dalma Voodoo" ( calling it a "Barbossa" makes it sound like a martini).

ETA: My brother, who refused to watch Heroes because he didn't like the DVD ad campaign, is now a fan! He made a pact with my mother that they won't watch the new series until they finish the first DVD set. His favorite characters are Nathan (who I like more now) and Hiro. He hates Peter because he's whinny (sorry, Bree).

I started reading a web comic called SPQR BLUES last night. I'm such a web comic junkie. This one is quite good. It's a drama and takes place in the Ancient Roman Empire. Domitian is a dick.

I'm planning on registering for Nanowrimo once i get back from class.

ETA: Oh, my brother and I got my mom Heroes, the first season, for her B-day! I've turned her into a fan (I'm still working on my bro because I know he'd love it). This means I get a lot of amusing questions:

"Who is that guy? Is he naked? Is he the exploding man?"

(On Niki's friend What's-her-Name in the unaired pilot)"What kind of a woman walks around with $300 dollars in her purse? I never carry that much. Is she a drug dealer?"

I gave her two weeks to finish the first season, then I expect a report.

I talked with Sep about doing fanart for the Heroes site, but I don't think NBC would understand my "Mohinder and Sylar's Bogus Road Trip" idea.

I marathon-ed Heroes yesterday ( 12 episodes!), instead of doing homework like I should have. And now it's raining. I wish I did homework yesterday because rainy days are always better days to have marathons. Yes, I know, it took me until to finally watch the damn thing in chronological order (I've only caught random episodes before).
