Happy Thanksgiving, Canadians!
Unfortunately, it lines up with Columbus Day this year. I always feel a bit Ambiguous about Thanksgiving (though I do love food), but Columbus day really chaffs me. Here's a link to the Reconsider Columbus Day project, which is a grassroots movement to change Columbus Day from celebrating Columbus, the "discovery" of the Americas (and subsequently the conquest thereof) into a day to celebrate the indigenous people of the Americas and educate people on their past and living history, and their cultures.

Hoax or not, Black Eyed Kids and well, black eyed other things terrify me. I can handle skin walkers but freaky murderous children? No.

My Pumpkin! - Icon is SO Relevant!
So, my roomies and I carved pumpkins yesterday. I almost did a generic pumpkin, but I decided to be more complex- being the art student in the house. Oh I am a geek:
