The Steampunk Style TestYou are the Scientist, the embodiment of steampunk’s academic side. Where other technological styles might emphasize the gadgets of the genre, you realize there is more to science than doohickeys and gears. Your accessories are medical bags, test tubes, measuring instruments, and academic papers. You are more likely to carry a compass, quadrant, or ether-attuned spectrometer than a wrench or welding torch. You probably carry a timepiece, and your prolific reading gives you every right to wear spectacles. Perhaps the most distinctive feature of your style is that it combines the frock coats and bustle gowns of the 19th century with the trappings of Victorian science.Finished planning my costume for this years events. I'll at least be attending one in the summer. I hope to attend the Steampunk Gala in San Diego, but that depends on if I have money. I'm basing it on this dress. It's overly ambitious but I'm finishing my costume from last year first as a back up plan and because I already ave the material.

My Evil Guide PlanCongratulations on being the creator of a new Evil Plan (tm)! Your objective is simple: criminal activities. Your motive is a little bit more complex: to show them all Stage One To begin your plan, you must first incapacitate a chosen one. This will cause the world to slaughter a sacred calf to appease the gods, bewildered by your arrival. Who is this Threat to our Children? Where did they come from? And why do they look so good in a Supervillain Costume with Gimmicks? Stage Two Next, you must desecrate the internet. This will all be done from a obsidian citadel, a mysterious place of unrivaled dark glory. Upon seeing this, the world will fall into catatonic trances, as countless hordes of animal minions (rats, birds, etc...) hasten to do your every bidding. Stage Three Finally, you must tauntingly wave your needlessly big weather machine, bringing about Something That's Really Metal. Your name shall become synonymous with the Spice Girls, and no man will ever again dare refuse to be your prom date. Everyone will bow before your Extraordinary Charisma, and the world will have no choice but to fall madly in love with you.

It is National Book Week. Grab the closest book to you. Turn to page 56. Copy the 5th sentence as your status. Don't mention the book. (Post these rules as well.) "Have you seen them, magician? They are wild and sea-white, like me."
Mon, Jan. 31st, 2011, 09:24 pm I've always wanted to be Sailor Mars
Had a really stressful day so I blew off some steam by making this: Sothis* was the most important star in the Ancient Egyptians. We know it today as Sirius. It was sacred to Isis, Hathor, Neith, and Sekhmet. Sothis is the Ancient Greek name. The Ancient Egyptian is Sopdet, but Sothis seems cuter. Her wand is used like a club she uses to crack skulls, Pharoah style. That's how she rolls. Made with the doll maker here. Q tells me it was made by this wanker, but it's still hella fun.

Two memes, stolen from Sep. Go to Wikipedia and hit random. The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band. Go to quotationspage.com and hit random. The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album. Go to flickr and click on explore the last seven days. Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover. Use photoshop or similar to put it all together. Post it with this text in the caption.
Clearly, it would be an Indies band with a lot of scene followers.Name a character and I will tell you:
a) a fact about them from my personal canon b) a reason he/she sucks c) a reason he/she is amazing d) a thing that I'd like to see happen to them e) someone that I can't ship that character with

Thu, Oct. 30th, 2008, 09:23 am My Pumpkin! - Icon is SO Relevant!
So, my roomies and I carved pumpkins yesterday. I almost did a generic pumpkin, but I decided to be more complex- being the art student in the house. Oh I am a geek: ( large, unlit, better detailed version ):D She's only six inches tall! Happy Pre-Halloween, folks! I'm going to be prepping my Halloween post when I get home, but tonight I'm going to the Queen Mary! ETA:THE CAT MEME If you are reading this, post a picture of a cat in your journal. (Your cat, a lolcat, or someone else's cat. But preferably yours, if possible.) My brother's cat, Max, who's a doll, but really skiddish. He's also a bit of a dumbass, but we love him anyways.

Perloined from pishbadlarr* Put your music player on random. * Post the first line from the first 32 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing the song. * Let everyone guess what song and artist the lines come from. * Bold the songs when someone guesses correctly. * Looking them up on Google or any other search engine is admitting you have a tiny penis, even if you're a lady. ( the thirty two )I have a head cold, but I am going home for the weekend for my parents b-days. I haven't slept at home since I moved. I can't believe it's been two whole months. I have four birthdays to buy presents for tomorrow. Holy crap!

I love it when other memes make the meme look well-behaved. I also hate it when other memes are making the meme look well-behaved. What are we doing wrong?
