Art prompts generator so far...
Just to show you guys the sort of categories I'm coming up with so far.

The items under each heading are just a few samples - I've got more so far (i.e. other colors :D). But if you think of any, please add them, or if you come up with better category names. :D

Style
example use: "in ___ style"

an anime or manga
a cel-shaded
a pop art
an abstract
a Pre-Raphaelite
a sumi-e

Media
example use: "in ___"

pencil
colored pencil
marker
watercolor
mixed media
CG
cut paper

Theme
example use: "Theme: ___"

a melody barely heard
we stand together
trying to remember

Color
Example use: "use ___ colors" or "in ___ tones" or "with ___ tints"

blue
green
earth
jewel
complementary
cool
warm

Emotion (not the best category name, but it'll do until I've got a better one)
example use: "evokes ___" "expresses ___"

happiness
sadness
passion
urgency
melancholy
unrequited love
timelessness
nostalgia
greed

Challenge
example use: (er, none, really - it would be a full sentence appended to the prompt.)

Evoke an emotion contrary to that which is obviously displayed by the subjects within the piece.
Experiment with lighting: Degree of lighting, angle, harshness, origin, single and multiple sources, color of lighting.
Use vibrant colours to create a sense of passion and urgency.
Reverse or flip your perspective, orientation or point of view on any piece you have previously created and recreate that piece.
Within the same piece, express the emotions anger, joy, sadness and melancholy. Subjects need not be human.
Use modern media to evoke a traditional and strangely otherworldy feel.

These categories I haven't worked out yet. I'll probably swipe a lot of them from the Cool Bits and/or Kinkfic generators.

And now to drive home!
