No tl;dr to beat you mercilessly over the head with - I'm there because there are things I like about it. I'll say Stephen King!Shift and Cuddlerays and leave it at that. Those who get it, will get it. Those who don't  -- well, they won't and people will go on to do the things they enjoy. Frankly, it's refreshing to ask  for recs and get a ton of things that have nothing to do with wizards and Impalas. That's the kind of stuff I'm there for.

Is there hate on the meme? Of course. There's hate in personal journals and from what I understand, there may be a community or two around the internet devoted to mocking, but perhaps it's different and that's why some of those community participants are confused. It's different

I suppose since more people are going to be here on JF, I'll start updating here more too.

A bit about me, since I did that friending meme thing: I write slash. Um, that's it really. I don't participate in any of the wank comms, I'm not into SPN, but I will read a good rec, since I am at least familiar with the series. Currently I am still writing in PU and pondering bringing my celebrity/bandslash over here from LJ.

I don't think I'll be leaving LJ entirely and my more wordy/personal/rantypanties posts will stay over there. My fannish thoughts probably will show up here more frequently - but they are very vague, not fandom specific - so there's your disclaimer.

I have opinions on a variety of things and I will occasionally voice them and be unapologetic about it. If that's not your cuppa - I won't take a defriending personally, because my stance/disagreement isn't personal. We'll either get on, or we won't.

Total sucker for meta about writing, so if you've got good linkage, or thoughts of your own to share - bring it on.

Also, if anyone knows of new places here on JF for writers that are *NOT* SPN/HP/Specific Fandom kind of thingies where people can join up or pimp out their shit, give a holla.

Okay, this is totally selfish, narcissitic, vain...etc. You shouldn't be shocked.

I'd like to know your favorite fic/scene from my j/b/v muses (solo, paired or the trio). If you could say what you liked (no great detail needed) I'd appreciate it.

I have a reason I'm asking, but for now I'd just like to have a reference. It's kinda related to writing in general, but this is the only thing I've had any amount of people reading for a while.
