I'd like to direct you to the picture of the ship with a net full of jellyfish, to which my initial reaction was "JESUS H. SHITBALLS CHRIST, LOOK AT ALL THOSE JELLYFISH." And aside from the bell, these jellyfish don't even look cute. I mean, they look downright Lovecraftian. Look at all those tentacles! THEY CAPSIZED A FISHING TRAWLER!
Sea nettles are cute. Moon jellies are cute. Nomura's look like ground beef gone bad or something.
Also, it looks like I'm going fishing this weekend! I don't know what kind of fish Pittsburgh has, but I haven't been fishing in a long time. I should probably feel like a terrible person for liking to watch fish, keep fish as pets, eat fish, and stick hooks in them all at the same time.
If/when I get a bigger place, I'd like to get a bigger fish tank! It's kind of like a puzzle, figuring out how many gallons you have and how many fish that can support, and then how to get the perfect combination of fish. I think once I get a tank upgrade, I would like to get some Neon Tetras and/or a betta. I don't want to be responsible for any fish deaths, so I am reading about fish and it seems like bettas and tetras get along well (and platys, I think).
Also, I must go look for a hiding place so my fish can hide in little holes. Right now I have a bridge they can swim under and a big artificial coral thing, but I think they'd like more privacy. And plants!
...dude, marimo are on sale.
I did not know they had blue lobsters.
