Heroes season 1 & 2, which I bought before Christmas (mm, retail therapy), have been devoured.
I enjoyed it. Bit sad that Season 2 was so short compared to Season 1, but c'est la vie. Not every television show can be Buffy, starting at 12 episodes a season and rapidly blossoming to 22 delicious niblets.
In fact, Heroes seem to have gone the opposite way. Oy vey.
Christmas was otherwise nice, but this post is supposed to be about Heroes, so here we go.
Ahem.
I dun get why the people in fandom get worked up over anything Sylar does. While he's a good antagonist, I don't find him neither handsome nor particularily homo-erotic.
Still, could totally see a Hiro/Ando thing. It would be v. cute.
Peter Petrelli was a whiny git in the first season. I think the emo hair made me hate him. Improved in the second season but I still don't like him overtly.
I'm overthinking the fate of the S2 Big Bad, as I could see said personage returning in a variety of ways. Also, the whole blood thing? Getting old.
In conclusion: Bit too handwavey with a few things, but overall a nice show.
And Claire gave me some insight into possible future Aberrant characters.
