| Bio: | I'm never quite sure what to write in these kinds of places, so when I sat down to write this I just decided to ramble on. I'm sure you'll forgive me, but then assumption makes an ass out of you ("u") and me, so I suppose I'll have to apologize for that as well (it's also the mother of all fuck-ups, which in these times seems to indicate the old gal got around). I'm too old for your shit and not old enough for this ride. I frequently feel like yelling at kids to get offa my lawn, but then I don't have a lawn, and suddenly older people thwack me with their sticks. I'm anal-retentive about grammar and spelling, except when I'm not (which may or may not follow rhyme or reason). Despite this, I'm not quite the grammar whore I should be, and there's no doubt I'll leave a sprinkling of grammatical and typographical errors behind me as I prance around in this bio-field. But that's alright, I can just say "English Is Not My First Language", and then everything's okay. Also, random caps. I realize I dislike the interests list, because it's always impossible for me to remember everything (and to be fair, I did port most of them over from LiveJournal) - and I'm far too busy slacking to add them later, right? I'm a mystery wrapped in an enigma dipped in chocolate sauce. I'm a pretentious fuckwit trying to be whimsical. I'm afraid of Americans. I'm afraid of the World. I'm afraid I can't help it. I want to be many things. I want to be pretty, thinner than I am, shorter than I am, richer than I am. I want to make art (acting, writing, or even the things I have no talent for, like drawing). I want to be famous and loved and to live better up to my ideals. I want world peace, or at least for more people to stop frothing at the mouths and discuss things like adults, in serious business as well as srs bsnss. And if I can't, well, then at least fandom wank will provide snark. Also, I want a pony. I listed trangression in my interests. It ties into "taboos", also listed. Transhumanism, I suppose, is part of it. Any overcoming of limitations, self-imposed, cultural, physical, mental. Any other categories. I'm in a process of reinvention, which I suppose accounts for parts of it. But yeah. Shattering boundaries. Defeating mores, defeating our flesh, defeating our minds. All fascinating stuff. Just thought I'd tell ya, as Costello (or was it Abbott? I can't remember) said. Hrm. I think I can squeeze in one more pop-culture reference before the end of this thing. Ah, got it.
