Oh fuck fuck fuck. I have an exam on monday for which I have done no revision whatsoever. It's quite possible that I'll bugger it up completely and thus jeopardise my place at Oxford.

But...all the time I could have been revising, I've been writing bloody fanfic - which, although fun and admittedly good practice if I ever decide to write anything perhaps fit for publication - is not awfully helpful in terms of enlightening me on the trials and tribulations of Otto von Bismarck. I'm so bastardly undisciplined. Although I have done two and a half Latin translations this morning, *proud*:)

Okay, who am I fooling? I'm lazy and I don't know anything. O h waily waily waily. Woe is me. Perhaps I'll write some nice Elijah!Angst to cheer myself up...

Wandered over from dl_anon and wanted to welcome you here. So, hi!

Yay! You're taking Latin! I took two years of Latin in College and never quite figured out how to do any of the translations. I could translate the words themselves, but I never got the hang of conjugating verbs or figuring out which adjective modified which noun. With English as my first language, the idea of nouns having gender really messed with my thought processes.

Anyway, I still love the idea of being able to read Latin, so I'm always impressed by someone studying it. Good luck with your exams.

Thank you:) I'm 'good' at languages - mkaes up for my utter inability to do maths, i suppose:-o It does get easier the more you practice, and you can make up your own cool Harry Potter-sounding spells!

Ha! I dare you to ask me about the Psych exam I didn't study for and instead read a 32-chaptered X-Men fanfic.

OOh I've been reading that fic! It's great, isn't it:) And since you dared me - how did you do?

Shh, we won't mention the unspeakable horror that is Freud.

So Oxford, eh? I'm starting uni in London come fall.

Cool. Expensive, but utterly cool. Which uni are you going to, if you don't mind me asking? A guy I know is going to LSE *is jealous*.

Kingston. Technically it's in Surrey, but hey.

Near enough! If I were living in London, I'd spend my life in Camden, which would be dangerously expensive...it's probably for the best. Oxford's fabulous though. Some friends and I are going punting down the river this summer:)
