Right, because it doesn't require fangs that are either much much longer than normal (or retractable). Although, you need the victim to be in a trance, because it's probably difficult to position your mouth and the victim's neck correctly in order to delicately pinch the skin, whereas with the "plunging top two fangs in" method, you could probably just grab and bite.
