In one hand he has a silk hand-painted long-stemmed black rose, the others are lying on the side of the table he's organised for their dinner tonight. He doesn't get the chance to even be seen with Tommy in public much less show him off, but he's hoping to make up for it tonight in the safe confines of the club. He's ordered a booth for them with a good view of the rest of the restaurant and bar. ( And of course everyone will have a good view of them. ) |

Backdated to November 1, 2011.] Tommy steps out of the shower, wrapping a towel around his waist before wiping the steam off the mirror. Two days and the marks Henry had left on him are still there. They don't ache anymore, at least unless he presses on them, which he finds himself doing more often than he'd thought he would. Marks on his body are nothing new. You play the brat and you come home with bruises, it's part of the deal. But he can't stop looking at these. Henry said he'd meant to put them there, that they weren't just an incidental by-product of the sex. And Tommy has absolutely no idea what that means. Just like that flare of jealousy at the Hallowe'en party. Jesus, he'd been such an asshole, and in public at that. It had taken him by surprise at least as much as Henry, and poor Ryan. Fuck. What must Ryan think of him? And that's the thing. He doesn't do jealousy, doesn't care who fucks whom as long as he's getting his. And it's not like there weren't other people at the party who would have been happy to fuck him. Not as if he and Henry had made a date or anything. Henry. It all keeps circling back around to Henry. Henry who's leaving town for work for most of two months. Henry who's big and sexy and keeps being completely honest with him. Henry who'd left Ryan on his knees to chase Tommy down. So, I encourage my fans to ask me whatever they want to know about. Apparently, I was excruciatingly naive. I thought they'd want to know about the music. I mean, I expected some stuff about Adam, but I was hoping to spend time talking with my fans about my music, my process, what I love and what I hate. Um, no. What do my fans want to talk about? Some want to talk about horror movies, which, okay, I could do that all day. But the majority? Want to quiz me about being an atheist. Like they've never seen such a thing before and can't really fathom how it all works. I feel like a fucking animal in a zoo. |
