As we all know, LJ is down right now.
And as if that weren't enough:- Twitter also went down just now (Twitter is currently down for database maintenance. We expect to be back in about an hour. Thanks for your patience.)
- the LJ status page is only loading intermittently
- and IJ seems to be having trouble loading as well.
LJ going down takes everything down?

Okay, I've got my layout, my default icon (the rest will need some deciding!), and I'm going to start seriously looking for people in a bit. Or, you know, just mass-friending everyone who's got the same username as my LJ friends. *g*
In the mean time, you've probably seen this on LJ or GJ, but if you haven't -  rachel, the SixApart manager of consumer-product support, offered to answer people's questions and posted her email address. So I thought I'd take advantage of that offer to ask a few things.
