Okay, so I'm still alive, having quit Paxil cold turkey five days ago. This is not what I imagined myself writing about.

Yes, I know it's one of the tougher SSRIs to kick. Yes, I did this without my physician's approval. Yes, I am stupid. But, geeze, mom, he would have wanted me to like, taper and stuff!

I am hard headed and stubborn, yes.

Paxil has a variety of side effects. Constipation and weight gain, sexual dysfunction, dry mouth, drowsiness.
