[14 November, 2009. Takes place the day after Hayden and Milo have to rescue Adrian from a bar.]


Adrian feels like hell.

Milo's actually even sort of sorry for him. He wanders down the stairs. "Adrian's gonna be in bed for a little while longer," he says.

"I wondered," Hayden says. "Did you mention food?" she asks.

"He looked like he was gonna puke."

There's a strange look on Hayden's face as she hangs up the phone. "Well. Okay."

"Who was that?" Milo doesn't look up from his game.

"That was Adrian," Hayden says. "He's... well. He's drunk."

Milo blinks a lot, as if Hayden had just starting speaking the ancient language of Acadian.

"He's... Milo, I need my keys," Hayden says, starting to look around for them. "We need to go."

"What?"

( "We have to go get Adrian." )

The mood in the Pasdar home is sombre enough that even Chanel becomes very quiet as her three humans trudge through the door. She sits down just in the doorway to the living room and watches them, Bear behind her, tail wagging because, well--Milo's home, and that means food, even if Milo seems sad.

Adrian wanders quietly back through to the kitchen to start working on supper.

Milo looks down at Hayden, a little bit helpless.

Hayden doesn't really have anything to say. ( Nothing that'll fix things. )

"Have you two decided what I'm doing with that chicken?" Adrian leans against the wall to take off his shoes. He's exhausted. It's been a long day. For all he cares, the chicken can go in the garbage and they can order pizza.

"I've decided, Milo's waffling," Hayden says.

"I'll have whatever Hayden's having," Milo says.

She rolls her eyes. ( ''Stir fry, please. I'll help.'' )

[Takes place several hours after Milo and Hayden curl up to wait for Adrian.]

Adrian drags his ass in the door at eleven-thirty-seven. He looks a little bit on the ridiculously haggard side from having spent most of his day in an airport for a flight that lasted all of an hour.

( Hayden's fingers are still resting against Milo's head. She'll be surprised later that she actually managed to fall asleep sitting upright. )

Milo wanders into the living room and lies down on the couch with his head on Hayden's lap. "Adrian's on his plane."

"That took awhile," Hayden says, instantly playing with his hair.

"Some fuel concerns or something, but they've boarded. So hopefully they'll get in the air sooner or later."

"Good," she says. ( ''I'm surprised you got through. He actually listens when they tell people to turn off their mobile devices.'' )

[30 June, 2009. Will be backdated. Takes place not long after Zachary drops one hell of a bombshell on Zach and Chris and Zach and Chris have a brief confrontation with Sendhil.]

"Is that her? Is it? Oh it is, look at her, look at her hair, oh my gosh, she's so tiny, look at her hand!" Milo's quiet, but he's babbling at a mile a minute.

"Milo, let them into the house, for God's sake," Adrian says, laughing.

Hayden tugs him back and out of the way, although she's almost bouncing in place, she's so excited. "We've been dying to see you guys, but we were trying to be polite and give you some space, and I think we almost sprained something doing it."

"Milo's naked," Adrian comments lightly to Hayden when they reach the master bedroom. "He didn't waste any time while we were cleaning up, did he?"

Milo grins cheekily.

"It's almost like he's in a hurry or something," Hayden says. "I wonder what else he's taken care of."

Milo has his cuffs on. And he's prepped himself for Adrian--or, hell, even for Hayden--if one of them would like to fuck him. "Come on, you two," he says. "I'm ready."

Hayden looks at him for a few moments, then gets a thoroughly wicked expression on her face. ( "Adrian... I'd like to learn something new." )

[May 23, 2009.]

[Takes place several hours after the Wii-incident, the same evening that Milo has dinner at Chris, Zach, and Zachary's house. Around the same time that Adrian and Hayden are in the kitchen.]

"He's fast asleep," Chris says, flopping down on the couch with Zach. "Thank God."

"I feel like I've just filmed a twenty hour day, I swear to God," Zach says.

"Okay, whose idea was it for me to call my mom?" Zachary collapses wearily on the couch.

"Yours," Milo says.

"So do I get to sleep with Zachary?" Milo asks with a great big crooked grin. "Look--I made him blush!"

That makes Zachary blush harder. He mumbles something about sleeping on the couch tonight.

"That barbeque is... it's like... it's like the lamborghini of barbeques," Milo says. "Adrian won't let me use his barbeque, but it's nothing like David's." He kneels down in front of Morena and looks up at her with a lop-sided grin. "Thanks for letting me make dinner, but from what David tells me, anything I could make would be better than what Sean could've put together." ( He glances over his shoulder to make sure Sean's not standing in the doorway, then looks up at Morena again. )

Adrian wipes his mouth, then sets his napkin down on the table. "Well," he says, "since the four of us cooked that delicious meal..." He looks at Hayden and Sean with a little grin.

"Hey--we tried to help!" Hayden protests, but even still, she gets up and starts to clear the table. ( After she sticks her tongue out at Adrian, of course. )

[25 April, 2009. Happens at the same time that Sean, Morena, and David are getting ready for their night at Citadel.]


"I am... so not at all sure about this." Milo's brow is very, very furrowed as he looks at himself in the mirror, then at Hayden's reflection in the mirror. "Are you sure about this?" Ultra-tight and ultra-shiny PVC pants, combat boots that took roughly a bazillion years to get on and all buckled up, plain black short-sleeved tee shirt, and a PVC vest that matches his pants. ( "It's... it's so different, Hayden. What'll Adrian think?" )

"Move it or lose it, Monster." Adrian snaps his fingers and points to the floor. When the cat doesn't move, Adrian sighs, picks him up, then sits down on his chair and deposits Monster on his lap.

Just in time for Hayden to open the door and see the two of them there. "Oh... so adorable! Look at you two."

"Crap," Adrian says, though he's grinning. ( "He just showed up. I don't know how he got here." )

If it were not a physical impossibility, Sendhil would have jumped clear out of his skin when he heard Milo's voice.
