Re: I bow to your superior geekiness! Now it's the GM that does all the work. We just sit there, reap the reward of his hard work and bitch about the treasure. I'm in a Star Wars game that is set during the original trilogy. We just rescued a bunch of rebel pilots and fled on the Milennium Falcon. Our wookie beat a rancor in a pitfight, which was cool, but Jabba stiffed us on the bet. My other game is a DnD one. Have you ever read the Dragonlance books? That was released as a campaign for characters of level six. Our Gm is running us through a pre-campaign, (how we all met) before starting us on the published adventures. I'm the kender and a bard. I give everyone else a combat bonus by telling stories that are so annoying that the other characters just want me to shut up. Of course, I'm convinced that they're stirring speeches.
