Now it's the GM that does all the work. We just sit there, reap the reward of his hard work and bitch about the treasure.

I'm in a Star Wars game that is set during the original trilogy. We just rescued a bunch of rebel pilots and fled on the Milennium Falcon. Our wookie beat a rancor in a pitfight, which was cool, but Jabba stiffed us on the bet.

My other game is a DnD one. Have you ever read the Dragonlance books? That was released as a campaign for characters of level six. Our Gm is running us through a pre-campaign, (how we all met) before starting us on the published adventures.

I'm the kender and a bard. I give everyone else a combat bonus by telling stories that are so annoying that the other characters just want me to shut up. Of course, I'm convinced that they're stirring speeches.
