It's been almost three months, so I guess I ought to say something? Maybe? Maybe.
Um. Numbered post, I guess, because I can't seem to organize my thoughts otherwise:
1). I broke up with Brian about midway through July (it was a long time coming, we're still sort-of-talking, since I'm busy with school and hence not around much anymore), and I've been dating. Most of my dates have been pretty Hellish, but hey, they provide entertaining stories.
2). I quit my job at the end of August, right after school started—I couldn't balance school and work, and I was having issues with one of my coworkers.
3). My online friend Zed came down and hung out with me toward the beginning of July; we clicked really well in person, and hanging out with him was a lot of fun. Probably the high point of my summer, actually, as hanging out with him/introducing him to all of the people he'd met via the 'net but not in person was a lot of fun.
4). I read Twilight, and was surprised at how not-bad it was. I didn't like it (I thought the pacing sucked, and yeah, it lacked a lot of plot), but I can see why members of the target audience would like it—if I was fifteen again, it would have been on my "favourite books" list, probably.
That's . . . about it? I suppose if you're terribly curious about what my life is like, your best bet is to check out my LJ (kickthehobbit), otherwise . . . well, yes.
I'm going to make chocolate zucchini cake tonight. It's going to be good.
P.S.—Just because I haven't been commenting doesn't mean I haven't been reading, etc, etc. Oh, andthreegoldfish, I ♥ your fish mugs immensely. I kinda want to buy one, but I can't decide on which. :x
