12:58pm: So. Damned. Hot.
It's freakin' hot outside. I'm over this whole Summer thing now. I want fall weather. I want to live somewhere that actually *has* fall weather when fall comes. I want to whine for a bit more. I want it to be September 8th so Torchwood can start here. There's just something about the prospect of getting to watch it on actual TV that makes me happy.Speaking of stuff on BBC America...I'm still enjoying Hotel Babylon. It's great for mindless watching with a whole lot of pretty thrown it. Max Beesley is quite nice to look at and listen to. I'm also cracking up at the closed captioning announcements before shows start on BBCA.I've got nothing else coherent or though out. Did I mention that it's hot?

12:55pm: NCIS DVD Release

Hopefully this will be x-posted to my IJ, JF and GJ accounts.

So I got an email about the update for the NCIS Season 4 DVDs.  Yay extras and all that.  Hopefully Paulie and Michael are doing the commentaries again.

My question is about "Some episodes may be edited from their original network versions."  What the heck does that mean?  It's not like you can edit anymore for content really.  I mean it's already edited for 8:00 Network television.  I pay money for DVDs I want more, not less.

Any thoughts?  Ideas?

"War Stories" is on right now. I realized that it's probably my favorite Firefly ep. (Okay, so that statement is totally subject to change at whim.) But what does it say about me that I love an ep that's so violent soo much?

10:11am: More migratory updates
Along with r_morrow_daily, I've also created a mirror for ncisfanfic on GJ. I'll be going through both doin the admin stuff.Also? the_lj_refuge on GJ has a list of comms that are being mirrored or at least have place holders from LJ.

1:08am: Okay, I'm loving on Semagic right now.
Now that I know that I can post to all of my err J's at once, I'm a bit happier of a camper.I'm setting up duplicates of the comms that I mod over on the other journals. I already have an r_morrow_daily set up on GJ. I'm thinking if the migration happens, GJ is looking like a good place to land for the moment. Their TOS actually looks rather user friendly. What a concept. Of course the cynical part of my brain says, just wait until some corporate giant buys them out.
