An interesting account of Brad's crusade to defend fandom from the evils of fandom_wank!

Also, we apparently deleted the wiki because she linked to it sometime. So good to know. Can we blame her for all the other times it's gone down, too?

Why do so many people have this idea that fandom needs "defending" from mockery? I'm sure more fandom mockery goes on on LJ in an entire day than goes on in F_W in an entire year, even if mostly behind friends-lock, and people snicker at that. And yet, somehow, fandom still survives.

Now if it was mockery and Snarry porn, then maybe they would have a point.
