A very sweet friend of mine was a carer for a tiny little orphaned Joey. She was so small that she didn't even have fur, but still struggled to survive. Unfortunately she lost her battle.

My love goes out to Del and all the care she gave the little one. People like that make the world a better place.

Chapter 6

The airfares are booked (and paid for)!!

I am flying out to the US next month! So far it looks like I will be visiting friends and co-writers in San Fran, Reno, New Orleans, Orlando, New York and LA.
I have no idea how I'm gonna pay for it all, but hey I'll just melt the plastic a bit.

In other news, my health is on the improve, my love life is definitely on the improve and life is starting to feel pretty good.

Hmmm... never plan a cheap weekend in because it doesn't seem to work that way.

On the spur of the moment I took my mam out for lunch in Brighton and ended up buying 2 new pairs of glasses! I need a new pair for the upcoming trip to the USA and UK, but 2!! *rolls shortsighted eyes*

So am broke again!

Btw, I only found out a few weeks ago that Eric Bana lives in Brighton!! I always knew he was a Melbourne boy, but didn't realise he was that close to home.

Just to let people know - Owlgrey, yours truly and our respective partners are flying out to New Zealand today! We will only be gone a week and will try to do some tagging in internet cafes and hotel rooms, but please be patient if we are slow. :)

Okay ... I now have a pup on citadel! I've just taken Viggo as my one and only there.

Well, here is the dreaded chapter 4 - I have had so much trouble with this on even before my computer gave up the ghost. To be honest I didn't want to make it sad, but homeless!Viggo muse kept forcing my hand. Hope it is okay ... this one worries me a lot!
