	Okay, so I started to write my CoL drive fic, and ended up finishing this one. Whaaaateeevaaaaaah. I'm like, not terribly pleased with it, but I don't think it's awful. I don't usually take the serious angst-y-ish route, so it seems a bit shakey to me. Also, I think I way overdid it. Way. Anywho, it has a happy ending (kinda?) so Stella shouldn't hate me for it. This sucker was the one-shot from hell. I sat down with a cute idea about Inuyasha's subduing spell and ended up with a 32-page 6-month monster. GAWD. But it's OVER. And it didn't turn out half bad, in my opinion. Eh, well, who knows.

Authors Notes: For those that don't know- Kagome's name is an unusual one. It was actually derived from an old children's rhyme whose origins are vague. It is still unknown as to what 'Kagome' actually means. Anywho, the rhyme you will see in the beginning of this chapter is the childhood rhyme that Kagome got her name from. The translation and explanation was found at Inuyasha Sengoku o-Togi Zoushi if you wanna check it out for yourself.
